Did you know that we’ve worked with the UKPN team before?

In 2013, we embarked on a “Pre RIIO Submission IT Benchmarking study” for UKPN. The study was crucial in determining whether the IT services (including Data Centre, Service Desk, Networks, and Applications support) provided to UKPN were delivering “Value for Money” when compared to industry peers. 

The study identified areas where improvements were necessary to enhance the overall quality of services delivered. Detailed recommendations were provided in a comprehensive report, highlighting the specific areas that needed attention.
Recognising the importance of ongoing improvement, UKPN engaged ImprovIT again in 2016 for a repeat benchmark. This subsequent study aimed to showcase the progress achieved since 2013 while also providing valuable internal resource analysis, digital and market insights. The results were promising, with UKPN demonstrating good cost performance overall.
However, the benchmark also revealed discrete areas where significant cost savings were possible, particularly in Service Desk and application licenses. 

Our contact then moved on, and since then we’ve continued to develop our service offerings and would love to showcase our latest IT Transparency service to you.
