As part of that, we thought it could be helpful to share with you some work that we did with Essity (SCA at the time) in 2011-2012 that unlocked potential cost savings of over 14% for your IT organisation.

ImprovIT worked with your UK team to conduct an extensive Regional IS benchmark of IT costs and performance. The primary objective was to unveil untapped cost-saving opportunities and service enhancements, with a minimum target of 5-10% savings.

Our comprehensive assessment yielded strong results, highlighting avenues for reducing complexity and unlocking potential cost savings of 14.1% overall.

We provided a comprehensive set of recommendations to guide your digital transformation, encompassing crucial areas such as precise workload analytics, broader utilisation of incident and request portals, streamlined automation for accurate tracking of response times and abandoned calls, and the adoption of ITIL processes.

Also covered was the importance of reviewing and aligning service level agreements with peers, while advocating for the exploration of synergies, not only within regions but also across other SCA business units.
